Why develop a brand at all?
Have you ever wondered what the importance of branding is? Is it the icon itself? A clever mark? Or a really good slogan? In reality, it’s all of them.
Creating a brand identity that solves the problems of the client is the priority. As a designer, it’s not just picking the best typography, color, or geometric patterns. You need to deliver a set of standards both you and the company can be proud of.
One of the biggest issues that I’ve had so far is finding a way to communicate appropriately to the client on how to promote the importance of progress in a brand. You must be able to show them how to develop a set of benefits that clients can pull from.
It takes months if not years to leave a stamp in the psyche of your consumers, to shape what they believe are the values of your company. Your feelings towards a set of visuals can be completely different from another person, but with the proper graphic designer, you can influence how that feeling is perceived.

What to focus on
What are some of the different things that can benefit you as a designer?
The most important thing that you must learn is making sure that the logo exemplifies what the goals of the company are. Meaning, the development of an image needs to augment the values of the company. The logo should highlight the businesses’ strengths, friendliness, passion, you name it! The ultimate goal is for that company to not only love what they see but, to understand what it is they do within one second of seeing it. It should become a memorable image and that gets stamped into their brain for years to come.

To be exceptional in your designs is the attribute that you can attach to your logo design principles. However, you also need to be mindful of the way you feel when you look at logos <example of your favorite logo and what and why it makes you feel the way it does with images>.
Still, the logo is not the only thing that a company will seek from you. Good branding can affect how everyone sees your client’s company but, it goes beyond developing just a style that the whole company can understand. <Give an example of a brand that inspires you when you work>. It must be a vessel and the answer to the problems the company is facing. You can achieve the resolution to their issues by listening to their problems and providing a professional solution that both parties can be proud of
The beauty of Design
Anybody can develop a logo, I feel like this is an absolute truth.
Start with some artistic vision, add a little bit of skill, and a pinch of passion and you can create a face for a company. Still, this is not the best way to think when you’re first starting in the field. Creating a brand identity that solves the problems of the client should always be your priority. You should be building trust with your clients, showing them that you can help them succeed in the long through your branding solutions. <images/in-bound link>
Creating a brand should be about solving your client’s problems through creativity and passion. Something that will work in one year, five years, or twenty years. It will always be there and drive a company forward.
